Wire/Cable Assembly
Central One offers custom wire harness assembly from small run production to large volume production. We have the expertise to design, prototype and assemble your wire products. Small run and prototype wire harnesses are assembled in the States. Large volume production takes place in China, where you get the lowest cost product while still getting Central One’s quality standards.
WHAT IS A WIRE ASSEMBLY?
Electrical current and/or signals are transferred along wires. Often times a large number of wires are needed to carry these signals and power. A wire assembly is a collection of wire grouped together. At the end of each wire are several possibilities - bare stripped copper, terminal, connector or over molded connection. The group of wire can be banded together with zip ties, loom or other material. Wires are routed to the exact location and distance that they are designed to.
OUR PROCESS
First, a wire assembly design is submitted to Central One for a quote. You will receive a detailed quote back listing quantities and lead times. Once we receive the order we begin manufacturing a first article. You then review the first article to make sure the part is properly built. Once the part is approved for production the manufacturing of your assembly will begin. Your product will then be packaged and ready to ship to your location.
